This Refund Policy outlines the conditions and procedures for cancellations, refunds, and the timelines for processing.

1. Eligibility for Refunds

  • Refunds are applicable under the following circumstances:
  • If you cancel your booking within the permitted time frame as specified below.
  • If the service could not be delivered due to an error or fault on our part.
  • If the driver fails to arrive at the pick-up location without prior communication or reasonable cause.

2. Cancellation and Refund Terms

a) Advance Bookings

  • Cancellation Window: If you cancel your booking more than 30 minutes before the scheduled pick-up time, you are eligible for a full refund.
  • Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 30 minutes before the pick-up time may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the total fare.

b) Immediate or On-Demand Bookings

Cancellations for immediate bookings may not qualify for a refund if the driver is already en route to the pick-up location.

c) No-Show Policy

If the passenger is not present at the pick-up location within 15 minutes of the scheduled time without prior notification, the booking will be considered a no-show, and no refund will be provided.

3. Refund Process

If you are eligible for a refund, the process is as follows:

  • Submit a refund request through our website, app, or customer service helpline.
  • Provide relevant booking details, such as booking ID, date, and reason for the refund request.
  • Our team will review your request and inform you of the outcome within 3 business days.

4. Refund Timeline

Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days from the date of approval. Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used at the time of booking.

5. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided under the following circumstances:

  • Incorrect or incomplete information provided at the time of booking.
  • Cancellation requests made after the ride has commenced.
  • Misconduct or violation of our terms and conditions by the passenger.

6. Force Majeure Events

Urgent Taxis is not liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, strikes, or government restrictions. Refunds in such cases will be handled at our discretion.

7. Disputes

If you have a dispute regarding a refund, please contact our customer support team within 15 days of the transaction date. We will work to resolve the issue promptly and fairly.
